Would Putting ice on boiling water be 1. Liquid to solid 2.Solid to liquid to gas 3.solid to liquid

    i think its not possible for water to sublimate directly from solid to gas it has to go through ht liquid : and also equllibrium exist between ice and liquid water

    What are you talking about, water CAN sublime. Snow can sublime. The temperature has to be below freezing point, 0ºC
