When putting ice into a pot that boils water. is it SOLID TO TO TURNED TO GAS or SOLID TURNED TO LIQUID TURNED

    It does not go directly to gas, so it first melts, becomes a liquid. Then becomes a gas.

    Ice can go directly from solid to gas phase, but not by this method.

    Its tricky. Only because its saying boiling water
