How do you do the math for this? If you drive 50 miles each week and your car gets 25 miles to the gallon with gas costing $4.00 per gallon, how much gas will you have to buy?

50 miles a week, 25 miles per gallon, means you would use 2 gallons per week 2 gallons (4) = $8

the question says how much gas will you have to buy -- it does not state a time period. I am just guessing per week.
