So now that i know the slope is 2/3, how can i tell if anything is parallel to line AB? And then how can i tell what is perpendicular to line AB

    Any line with an equal slope will be parallel.

    Right, if a line has a slope that is the negative inverse of the slope of your line, then it is perpendicular to your line.
