    Latex is the substance obtained from some of the trees,which is used to make products like rubber and glue..LOL!! =]

    \(t_h\cdot i^s=\sum_{or=0}^t{h_{at}}\) and similar formulae are part of \(\TeX\) and \(\LaTeX\) actually is suited to create whole documents with automatic nice formatting. Since you can directly edit the source code, you can sometimes work more efficiently than with MS Word etc. You can also import additional packages (plug-ins) for more functionality.
