Solve for x in the following proportion I worked on the problem before, I asked this. I believe the answer could be C. Could someone tell me If I am correct? or wrong? Thank you :)

    cross multiply: 3x = 14 so what is value of x?

    to get the value of x divide both sides by 3

    Since I'm dividing both sides by 3, then I would be dividing the 14 by 3? So the value of x would be 4?
