    North Korea wanted to remain communist and keep South Korea but in the end they lost and remained isolated from the world to this day.

    For the United Nations -Wanted-To stop the spread of communism But - MacArthur, an arrogant man who wished to provoke China continued past the 20 miles mark, even though told not to by the UN & the US. President Harry S. Truman. So-The United Nations Forces under the command of American General Douglas MacArthur to push the invading North Korean Forces back into North Korea.

    Yes!They chose a self defense method.They wanted to keep a 'safe zone' so that no countries would interrupt its internal reconstruction to a communist country. :)

    China planned a surprise attack and defeated American troops at Unsan, in the first Chinese- American combat of the war.

    Okay China wanted to keep a safe zone so no countries would interrupt its internal reconstruction to a communist country. BUT China worried that the US would break into China if the US and South Korea were allowed to win the war.
