## Laken 2 years ago Aidan's mother has a large collection of shoes. She has 15 pairs of shoes, and 5 of them are clogs. If Aidan's mother chose a pair of shoes at random, what is the probability that the shoes would be clogs? Simplify your answer and write it as a fraction or whole number. @MissPopular @heather040200 @dmezzullo

1/4

2. dmezzullo

bc there is 20 pairs of shoes and 5 pairs are clogs so 5/20 is 1/4

It Was 1/3.

That's because there are 15 pairs of shoes OF WHICH 5 pair are clogs. This makes the odds 5:15 or 1:3 Dmezzulo misinterpreted the quantity to be 15 pairs of shoes AND 5 pairs of clogs. That would have made the odds 5:20 or 1:4

Oh she has 15 pairs of shoes total?
