Algebra 2 help!!! How do you find the measures of 2 angles between 0º and 360º with the given function of tanø=-1.752

    inverse tangent has a domain of -pi/2 to pi/2... you have to use your calculator for this... i wouldn't expect a professor to ask you to calculate this without a calculator ... ø=tan inv (-1.752) I will draw it

    ø=-60.28 or 299.71 degrees

    how do you know what measure to subtract the reference angle from?

    Once you use your calculator to get -60.28 degrees, add 360 degress and that should you give another similar angle.
