inverse tangent has a domain of pi/2 to pi/2... you have to use your calculator for this... i wouldn't expect a professor to ask you to calculate this without a calculator ... ø=tan inv (1.752) I will draw it

ø=60.28 or 299.71 degrees

how do you know what measure to subtract the reference angle from?

Once you use your calculator to get 60.28 degrees, add 360 degress and that should you give another similar angle.
