    all of them. they literally make no sense. this whole time i thought it was one problem. it wan't set up correctly in the word doc format

    nope for example \[\sqrt{2}x-\sqrt{8} \times 3=\sqrt{2}x-\sqrt{4 \times 2} \times 3 =\sqrt{2}x-2\sqrt{2} \times 3\] \[=\sqrt{2} \times (x-6)\]

    first question |dw:1367947608900:dw| in such type of questions we have to take common now second part can be factorise so |dw:1367947718184:dw| but in square root if a no. comes twice that is a pair of two then it comes out and only one term remains i.e.|dw:1367947798491:dw| so back to question |dw:1367947833712:dw| got it if yes then tell me i will proceed to second :)

    ok 3*3= is a pair so we can take it out it's a property of square roots if it is cubic then a pair of three .....etc e.g.|dw:1367948458812:dw|
