Isn't it 3 * 4 * 2 ?

3. anonymous

$\frac{ possible_choices! }{ 3_different_granola_bars! * 4_different_kinds_of_fruit! * 2_different_kinds_of_chips! }$

4. anonymous

$\frac{ 9! }{ 3!4!2! }$

ACTUALLY the answer is 9. The problem says that he can choose one snack from 9 choices! You see? The question is worded poorly. Does it mean one snack containing one of each of the three types of snacks? Or does it mean only one thing among the nine items?

dude, i know what it meant
