my guess Caribbean cuisine is a fusion of African, Amerindian, British, Irish Spanish, French, Dutch, Indian, Chinese, Dutch, Portuguese, German, Middle Eastern (all the countries of the Mediterranean area), Turk and America. These traditions were brought from the many homelands of these region's population. In addition, the population has created styles that are unique to the region and also unique to each of the islands and colonies that were owned by these places.
