Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1(x5)/(x^2 1) (x^2  1) == (x1)(x+1) A/(x1) + B/(x+1) Ax + A + Bx  B A + B = 1 (Which is the coefficient of x) A  B = 5 (Which is the coefficient of x^0) A = 1B (1B)  B = 5 1  2B = 5 2B = 6 2B = 6 B = 3 A = 2 2/(x1) + 3/(x+1) = (x5)/(x^2  1)
