ooh i like your icon!
thanks :3
it is doing a go at being a shiny
But yeah, since I lost voltage, I figured I'd just start over without being all fancy :3
what happened to voltage? how'd you lose it?
Thumb drive broke.
What is it?
a... browser...
cool!
Poopsie, it's an improvement over Voltage. Still, make the graphics even smoother, don't go with the default, un-styled elements that Windows has to offer. Though I like it much better :-)
I still have to say that if you'd release the new browser, I'd use it regularly instead of Google Chrome. Much better then Voltage. I think it's good that you made voltage, you got to learn from your mistakes. This hydra rocks.
It DOES still run off of IE though :P
and I've noticed a few errors with IE's engine already when I was trying to use it today.
Does it run on IE10? IE7 sucks. hard. Like, so bad.
Yeah, I found a way to make it use IE10, but it would require adding to the registry.
Sucks for you.
Suggestions: Stop and refresh need to be in one button, and they should detect if the webbrowser is loaded or not. Like how Chrome does, or any other good web browser. The address bar / title needs to be seperated more from the back/foward/refresh buttons and everything on the right of it, too. You need a new tab button on the tab menu, NOT on the top bar: and, be minimilist. Remove the Copy URL button (we all know how to right-click) and... that's about it. Good luck :)
Well, meh. I guess I could test out my idea I had for a new tab button a while back...
Then again, that would kinda be conflicting with the close tab button, because I can't just have it not show the close tab button on one tabpage that I would use to create a new tab.
But I don't really think the textbox should be further away from stuff than it already is. Because look at chrome. It's pretty much just as close to the things as chrome's url bar is.
Yeah, but it's also bigger in Chrome.
What is it?
'tis a browser that I'm programming, maths.
The tabcontrol is being quite troublesome though.
Good step poopsie.
Thanks :3

AWESOME! I needz download links :3
Be 'minimalist'... Not necessarily the best idea. btw, In the settings add the ability to have tab at the bottom of the browser. (I've always wanted a browser to have that ability :3.) Don't focus on minimalistic idea, try focusing on customization. Minimalistic browsers bother me, just they lack so much features that you end up having to get extensions after extensions.
Is that your browser? It's awesome. Just need to be a little more visual... that bar with so many options is pretty congested.
Maybe an auto hide sidebar? Help get rid on the congestion problems.
Good idea.
But the "sidebar" is the navigation bar though... I could have an option to hide some of the buttons on it though.
@opcode I disagree, you can be minimilist and clean in design yet not lacking features.
BTW @poopsiedoodle You also need icons for the back/forward buttons.
wanna make some for me? :3
or wait, I could just use "<<<" or something

@opcode what caused the error?
Trying to navigate to a webpage... Seems like compatibility issues with Windows 8?
hmm... not sure what the error is... did you run the patcher?
Yup.
What version of IE do you have installed?
IE 10.
That's odd... do you have 64 bit or 32 bit?
64 bit.
That could be why... the patcher only works for 32 bit, but it wouldn't be hard to make it support 64 bit. Lemme go add some 64 bit buttons really quick.
Mkay.
Meanwhile, you should delete the Dword Hydra.exe from "HKEY_LOCAL_Machine\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\MAIN\FeatureControl\FEATURE_BROWSER_EMULATION"
Actually, it's in Current User, not Local machine.
/Done.
Here's the update of Hydra and the patcher.

Error when I ran the patcher... Tried multiple times :|.
Awkward poopsie silence.
well... maybe I should change it back to current user. Excardon me for a moment.
I've fixed the patcher, and also found that running it as administrator is a necessity. I will upload it as well as the newest version of Hydra once I fix something I'm trying to do.
I did run it as an administrator.
Okay, I'm just gonna upload it without Hydra, because I haven't updated hydra again yet.
