well yeah it shows you right there (x-6)(x-2) when you plug in x=2 you have 2-2=0 on the right factor right. same goes with the left factor.

Since this is concave up the x values have to be between 2 and 6 if this was concave down then the x values would be below 2 and higher than 6.
