question: in original problem , yours is (x +h)^3 but when expanding, it turns to (2+h)^3??

2(2+h)^3-4 =2(8+h^3+6h(2+h)-4 =16+2h^3+24h+12h^2-4 =(2h^3+12h^2+24h+12)/h this is only the correct answer
