Correction: I'm not religious. I'm FAITHFUL in Christ. It's a relationship w/ Christ not a religion.

Its a relationship with God; what she just said...
anonymous

So you understand then? People chose not to understand because they are scared of the bible; it demands something of them. I'm glad to hear you know a little of the bible thou(:
e.cociuba
  • e.cociuba
That's correct. Let me say this again. I am not 'religious' I am FAITHFUL.

  • anonymous
The thing is, is that religious says religions....and there is only one God; that is God. Not Allah, Buddha, or any other of those nut job 'people' others worship.
anonymous
  • anonymous
And God isn't a religion. H is someone you need to have a relationship with b/c he loves you and can help you. Hes the ONLY way to heaven.
e.cociuba
  • e.cociuba
Correct @Cutie<3 that's exactly why I don't call myself "religious". It's just another saying tht calls out "Hey I believe in all Gods... " Christ wants us to stand out from other. To be the lights. God is not a religion, he is someone u want to have great relationship with. Take a friendship for example. You don't call tht a religion, do you? Well this also applies with a relationship with God. He is the one and only way to heaven, and for that you can't apply him to what the rest of the world calls "religion".

Trust me hun, i know that. I've helped many, actually. I'm not in a very good mood right now, so i'd leave it at this. If you can't handle the blunt truth then you dont know the TRUTH as well as you thought. AMEN @e.cociuba ! <3

  • e.cociuba
So I'm summing up everything you just said @KenLJW You are applying God to what the rest of the world calls "religion". Am I not correct?
e.cociuba
  • e.cociuba
"That may be so, but with that kind of talk you will never convert/influence anyone....." With this kind of judgment toward us, I'm pretty sure the only one who won't is you. I will have you know that I influence ppl everyday by the way tht I represent, act, and my behavior towards life daily. So you can sit and tell me all I'm doing wrong, but remember to look at urself before you do others.

Like I said; There's only one God, No Religion, and A relationship needed.

A relationship with Christ shouldn't be "trained". That's something given to us by the Holy Spirit and we grow to learn more and more about Christ. You make it sound like a dictatorship when technically it's the most special thing in life that can ever happen to you :)
e.cociuba
  • e.cociuba
But what about the passage where it say "You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye." Now a days ppl mainly go off of the New Testament.
anonymous
  • anonymous
Well technically, there's nothing being done wrong. Pull out the bible again sweety, it might help(:
anonymous
  • anonymous
You LEARN through the bible. And your right, he does have a title: SAVIOR, HEALER, FORGIVER. NOT: ANOTHER GOD, RELIGION, or AMATEUR.
e.cociuba
  • e.cociuba
I have to go. But overall this talk was extraordinary.@KenLJW great discussion. Ttyl and gbu guys! :)) xoxo e.cociuba
KenLJW

I agree you learn though the BIBLE, but as I said few read it and even less follow it. I do learned from my mistakes, but I wish I didn't have to make them in the first place. Maybe if I read scriptures younger it might of been different, that only God would know. bye
anonymous
  • anonymous
You need to make those mistakes in order to open your eyes to God. That is how you learn.
anonymous
  • anonymous
God put mistakes in your life for a reason. He says "Everyone falls short of the glory of God" and thats wen alot of our mistakes can be made. Were only human, were not perfect!
anonymous

It's all in how the children are raised as well. God puts certain people in our lives for a reason.

Agree, as I previously said my God expects things from me, some call it a calling others a purpose.
anonymous
  • anonymous
I think It's both. A Calling is when God calls you to do something, A purpose is what you are here to do; they go together

Haha(: ik what ya mean! It was really nice having this conversation, sorry I was snapping in the beginning. GBU!
