To find the equation of straight line when we have 2 points we use this formula |dw:1370886962947:dw| here x1=-1 x2=1 y1=5 y2=9

Part 2 is by using the above formula it is easy to find out the equation of a straight line. Writing in slope and intercept form is difficult because the formula is y=mx+c People find it difficult to understand this formula :) I hope you understood :)

Part 1: x2 + 7x = –3 We will re-arrange it so then it will be x^2+7x+3=0 then we will put quadratic formula that is |dw:1370887847677:dw| put the values in the equation and solve it :)

Didn't get the second part? :( Part 3: Quadratic equation is the best method because in this we only have to learn the formula and solve but while using factorization method we need to simplify divide and do alot. By usning the comlete square first we have to break the middle term then solve so it becomes lenghty. So, quadratic equation is the best method :)
