    AD-HOC PC to PC is limited I prefer using it as access point either way is suitable, it's just one has more advantage

    the second one is Access point I believe windows 7 is built-in with software that lets your share your internet connection as an access point. but like anything else that windows does, it's not known to work effectively without doing a lot of tinkering. so the solution is using CONNECTIFY ME software :) try it

    k or you can just configure it manually via windows settings :P which I prefer
