its just simultaneous equations LHS = Tri 1 = RXT RHS = Tri 2 = SXT Big Tri = RTS so Big Tri = RTS h^2 = a ^2 + b^2 13^2 = RT^2 + TS^2 so RT^2 = 13^2 - TS^2
Jack1
  • Jack1
so LHS (RXT) h^2 = a^2 + b^2 RT^2 = 4^2 + TX^2 and RT^2 = 13^2 - TS^2 so 13^2 - TS^2 = 4^2 + TX^2
Jack1
  • Jack1
13^2 - TS^2 = 4^2 + TX^2 169 - 16 - TS^2 = TX^2 153 - TS^2 = TX^2
