Do I have a good understanding of compile, runtime, and semantic errors? Compile errors are errors in syntax and will create an error message when they are run. Run-time errors occur also when you run the program, and semantic errors run as they are written, although they may not do what the programmer has intended.

Compiler errors are those that prevent the program from compiling. The other two are adequately defined.
