There is a person in my class who is at least as old as every person in my class. what does this mean? can someone tell me, i am a bit confused.

The person is AT LEAST as old as everyone else in the class, so they CAANT be younger, right? So they'd have to be the same age as everyone or older.

He's not nessicarily the OLDEST. It just means he's not the youngest so he is equal to OR more than the others.

The problem says AT LEAST so the least # of age he can possibly be IS the same age as the others. So he can have an equal age but the problem doesn't specify that he IS indeed equal, its POSSIBLE as long as he's not the youngest. So he can only be equal OR older.

fix the age of a person, say 12.. the guy is ATLEAST as old as him.. which means he cannot be younger than 12.. "ATLEAST as old as every person in my class" .. imagine three people with ages 12 15 17.. he must be 17 to be atleast as old as everyone.. so i suppose his age is equal to the oldest member of the class..
