its g/f(x) not f/g(x) see... \[f(x) = x + 2 \] and \[g(x) = x ^{2}-4\] i.e. \[g(x) = x ^{2} - (2)^{2}\]............. you can write this way too,, g/f (x) = \[\frac{ x ^{2}-2^{2} }{ x+2 }\] put the formula of a^2 - b^2 in the numerator..
