Given two points \(a\) and \(b\), their midpoint is the point that lies in the middle of the straight line that connects them. The distance formula tells you how far apart \(a\) and \(b\) are.

um ., distance is used to find the length between 2 points and midpoint is used to find the mid points of the same two points
