Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0ok....3 times the sum of a number and 7......the um of a number and 7 = (x + 7) and 3 times this is 3(x + 7)...."is " means equals. Two less then 5 times the number.....5x 2. Which comes down to 3(x + 7) = 5x 2 Do you understand ?
