Question 6 (Multiple Choice Worth 3 points) [2.04] MA.8.A.4.2 Tristen plans to type a hand-written paper before he goes to sleep. It will take him 18 minutes to gather his work and set up the computer. If he types 29 words per minute, which inequality represents how long it will take him to prepare for and complete a paper that has at least 750 words? 29(18 - t) > 750 _ 18(t - 29) > 750 _ 18(29 - t) > 750 _ 29(t - 18) > 750 _
Hi there, please atleast attempt to answer my question before leaving it, thank you. -Zackeria
please atleast try and answer your own question
@JamesWolf PLEASE ATLEAST STAY THE flutter OFF OF MY QUESTION OK? YOUR SUCH AN retriceOLE AND IM REALLY ABOUT TO BLOCK YOU IF YOU SAY ANYTHING ELSE SLICK! ON MY STUFF!!!! >:O
JAMES GET THE flutter OFF MY QUESTION!
Typing 750 words will take 750/29 = 25.86 minutes plus the initial setup, so 750 words will take him 43.862. So t>43.862. Solve the answers for t and see which one lines up with this.
Ok, Thanks @vinnv226
@Zackeria_x3 shuuussshhhh :) Now chiil leave him @reemii :)
Sorry, I get annoyed when people are cheating in tests or homework, and don't wish to learn for themselves
@JamesWolf shuuussshhh we didn't ask you that we are cheating or not :/ Just stay out of this :/ Let her do whatever she wants it's not your id :/ So better watch yourself first :)
cheers mate, but I 'll respond pretty much anywhere I please, especially if someone is swearing, or wishes to swear.
Who said I never tried to learn though?... thats the thing I DID try and I didnt get it so I went on OpenStudy for help. @JamesWolf
But I accept your apology and Im sorry for acting the way I did... I got my answer guys and its the last one.
Apologies all round. Good good.
@Zackeria_x3 leave him :) And even i was writing the same thing that people come here because they had tried to solve but couldn't understand :/ But leave him BTW good that you got your answer :) And sorry @JamesWolf if I was rude with you :(
actually, the number of "words by minute" look like this: |dw:1372972948721:dw| After 18 minutes he can start typing words. ok with that?
Thanksssssssssss @reemii :)
he does not type words because he's gathering stuff, then after 18 minutes he starts typing. there is a trick to notice : we can look at this line instead:|dw:1372973069368:dw| the equation of this line is 29(t-18). Then the correct expression is the one given in D.
Yupp, and that was the one I chose so thanks alot reemii :)
because we look for the time t when this line |dw:1372973181513:dw| crosses the level 750.
