I wanted to ask a very basic but a very critical question. For assessing a public company through their 10-k, what sections are the most important (besides the financials)? What financial ratios would you consider and how do you asses that the management's outlook is within reason? I am a newbie to finance and would truly appreciate valuable insights. Much thanks.
