    Photosynthesis: The process by which green plants and some other organisms use sunlight to synthesize foods from carbon dioxide and water. So yes. It's D :)

    @Jasmineflvs but the question asks which process shows that carbon is transffered from plants to the atmosphere, not from the atmosphere to plants :P

    Each day, carbon is removed from the atmosphere as plants take in carbon dioxide from air. The plants use carbon dioxide during the chemical process known as photosynthesis.

    @Jasmineflvs but read it again ;) the question says Carbon is transferred from plants to the atmosphere through the process of, not Carbon is transferred from the atmosphere to plants through the process of :P
