Am writing a program to solve the parabolic inhomogeneous diffusion equation using the backward Euler for the time discretization and the two point flux approximation. My challenge is in the decoupling. can someone help me with relevant materials to help me? The equation is: du/dt - kd2u/dx2 = f Thanks.
