Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0Well how did Michelle know that Denise blamed her? If Michelle didn't actually do it than she would have simply stated who did it instead of trying to defend herself.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0Denise's and Michelle's statements contradict each other so one of the them must be the liar. Therefore, Joshua is telling the truth. Therefore, Denise broke the vase.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0Michelle and Denise are making diametrically opposed statements. Therefore, one must be correct, one must be wrong. That is the starting point. Because one of them is false and the other true, and only one statement of the four is false, we know Nathan and Joshua are making true statements. Joshua states truthfully then that Denise did it. Therefore you have shown the caretaker made an incorrect conclusion.
