these are tricky because you have to work in cases if \(9-8x>0\) then \[9|9-8x|=9(9-8x)=81-72x\] but if \(9-8x<0\) then \(|9-8x|=8x-9\) and so \[9|9-8x|=9(8x-9)=72x-81\]

let's assume \(9-8x>0\) i.e. assume \(x<\frac{9}{8}\) then solve \[81-72x=2x+3\] what do you get ?
