This is a poem I wrote, that I'm not sure why I wrote or where my inspiration came from.
The sky is red
The sky is blue
The armies move ahead
For that's all they can do
The time has come
The mutiny has risen
Hear the rumbling hum
Of souls yearning for an ear to listen
Emotions all bottled up inside
Contained within for years
Assure themselves that those that have died
not for nothing, and all of these tears
were not in vain
they'd prove their cause
Freedom they'd gain
as the tearing pain gnaws
and the armies march on
Onward and on.

I know it's choppy and my syllables don't match up, but I wrote it in a haze and kind of quickly before I lost my train of thought. Not my best, but certainly not my worst.
