## brianjr227 2 years ago Pearl wants to cut a shape made of card paper into two halves along Segment SN. She uses a compass and a straightedge to construct the perpendicular Segment SN to Segment PQ from point S, as shown. At what points should Pearl place the compass to make the arcs which intersect at point N? two points on Segment SN which are equidistant from point N point A and point B a point on Segment SR and a point on Segment RQ point T and point P

Sorry. I learned Geometry but we skipped Constructions. Can't help you here. Good luck!

Sorry, me too.... this is not my field. When you need to find some roots of a polynomial or prove a trigonometric identity or probably even differentiate a function, I'm your gal! LOL

5. brianjr227

@DebbieG @OakTree alright thanks anyways...... @eLg maybe you can help??

6. brianjr227

@warningiflirt can you help?

7. DebbieG

My intuition is saying A and B?? None of the others look right. But I can't back that up with anything rigorous.

8. brianjr227

B? is just my estimated guess

9. warningiflirt

yup A and B are the only ones that make sense

10. warningiflirt

yup

11. brianjr227

@warningiflirt am i not right though??

12. DebbieG

She is saying you are right... I think.... :) Answer choice B, which is "points A and B"

13. warningiflirt
