The total volume would be the sum of the volumes of the cylinder and two hemispheres (i.e. one sphere): \[V=\pi r^2h+\frac{4}{3}\pi r^3\] The surface area would be the surface area of both hemispheres (again, one whole sphere) and the lateral area of the cylinder: \[A=4\pi r^2+2\pi rh\]
