since this is on a graph you could use the distance formula to get the lengths of the lines.

or you can just use the pythagoreas theorem, it's simpler. you see that line AD is the hypotenuse for a triangle with sides 3 and 4, so you know it's 5. Because this is a rectangle, you know that the opposite sides are parallel and equal, so line CB is also 5. now for lines AB and DC, they are hypotenuses for triangles with sides 2, and 2, so they are 2 times sqrt 2. and you have two of those, so you add those up, you get 5+5+2sqrt2+2sqrt2 which is about 15.7
