  • anonymous
i am thinking that if M is the midpoint of RS then \(2\times RM=RS\) and so \[2(x+6)=5x+3\]
anonymous
  • anonymous
solve for \(x\) and get \[2x+12=5x+3\] so \[12=3x+3\] and \[9=3x\] making \[3=x\]
