well to start out, you would add D to both sides, giving you AC + L + D = -TC you would then move the AC term over so that you have anything with a C on the same side, giving you L + D = -TC - AC you would then factor out the C to isolate it, giving you L + D = C(-T-A) And finally you would divide by the term in parentheses to fully isolate the C, giving you L+D / (-T-A) = C
