I need help with my AP Biology Osmosis and Diffusion lab. I already got the answer but i need to know if its correct. Here is the question: Calculate the solute potential of a .1 M NaCl solution at 25 C. If the concentration of NaCl inside the plant cell is .15 M, which way will the water diffuse if the cell is placed into the .1 M NaCl solutions?------- I got that the solute potential would be -4.95 and that the water will diffuse outside the cell.

I can tell you that your answer is wrong, because if the conc of solute is higher in the cell, then water will diffuse into the cell, not out. |dw:1378576534980:dw|
