I matched up #3 and #5 but I'm not sure about the other four functions
How did you match them up?
By looking at the degrees of the numerator and the denominator
but the other problems have square roots and sin
What was it about the degrees?
If the degree of the numerator is less than the denominator; the x-axis is a horizontal asymptote (y=0)
If the degrees are equal, the horizontal asymptote can be found by dividing the leading coefficients
If the degree of the numerator is greater than the denominator, there is no horizontal asymptote
What creates an asymptote?
I'm not sure
