is this right mla format? I find myself in agreement with the ideas expressed. In the section of the passage, “ ‘A year seems very long to wait before I see them, but remind them that while we wait we may all work, so that these hard days need not be wasted’ ” (14) is the correct form of saying that one must work diligently and not waste time in order to be rewarded later and the soonest possible.

    Is the thing you are quoting have a quote of something else in it? I ask because you use "' bla bla ' " And here is a guide for you: http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/747/01/
