In the extraction process, what are the 2 equations, using structural formula, used in the experiment to separate and recover the acid(benzoic Acid) from a mixture of equal masses of the base(m-nitroaniline), the acid( benzoic acid), and a neutral substance(naphthalene).

    You're going to isolate benzoic acid with aqueous HCl. This makes the solution acididc and as a result, make the benzoic acid precipiates.
