i used Quadratic formula to solve it, but the original form given was 90x^2-19x-90 = 0 u can factor it or use Quadratic formula i chose to use the Quadratic formula because it's much easier to solve it.

factoring it could make the answer much simpler but i couldn't factor it because the numbers are too big. u get the answer that i gave u when u use the formula.. and no, u don't multiply 90 by 90

u factor the whole equation. but when dealing with big numbers i suggest using Quadratic equation. (sample quadratic equation y= ax^2+bx+c).. when u factor u are looking for numbers that gives u "bx" when added and "C" when multiplied

look at my example: when u distribute (x+2)(x+2), you get x^2+2x+2x+4 which equals x^2+4x+4.. Your equation is the same but it is dealing with high numbers which gets a bit complicated.

thank u for helping me but im throwing in the towel, i give up on this type of problem i know how to do it but just can't get it through these big numbers, thanks anyway

no problem.. just use the quadratic formula when dealing with large numbers or when you know you can't factor it.. the formula is "x = [–b ±√(b²–4ac)] / 2a" P.S i forgot to square -19, so square it, then try to solve it.
