To graph the equation y=1/2x+3 using the slope and y-intercept, you would have to do which of the following? 1) Graph the y-intercept, 3. From that point, move down 1 and to the right 2 to plot another point. Then draw a line that passes through both points. 2) Graph the y-intercept, -3. From that point, move up 1 and to the right 2 to plot another point. Then draw a line that passes through both points. 3) Graph the y-intercept, -3. From that point, move down 1 and to the right 2 to plot another point. Then draw a line that passes through both points. 4) Graph the y-intercept, 3. From that point, move up 1 and to the right 2 to plot another point. Then draw a line that passes through both points.

y = mx + b m is the slope, and b is the y-intercept m is also defined as "rise over run" so you literally rise up 1 unit for every 2 units run (in the rightward direction) you would plot the graph from the y-intercept, 3, and go 2 to the right and up 1 to plot the next point. From there you can draw a line because you have two points.
