I Downloaded Python and have the prompt screen but don't know how to get to IDLE? Win7 Python 2.5.4

    Does your 'prompt screen' say Python Shell in the top border? If so, that is the IDLE Shell - to open an editing window choose Open or New from the File menu items. http://www.annedawson.net/Python_Editor_IDLE.htm lots of hits on Google for 'use idle'
