Can someone please help? Can someone give me like a good website to understand parametric equations and Cartesian equations as well of Circles, hyperbolas, ellipses, rays, line segments, etc.

Hi! For now, I'll show the link to Wikipedia, where it shows some shapes. I can't spend a whole lot of time explaining things right now. But, in a nutshell, you're using one variable (usually written as \(t\)) to find what an \(x\) is and what a \(y\) is, and then you find that \((x,\ y)\) point and plot it, because is is the point produced using \(t\). I guess you've seen this, but you get \(x\) and \(y\) from \(t\) because \(x\) and \(y\) are functions of \(t\). They are \(x(t)\) and \(y(t)\). Using just one \(t\), you get an \((x,\ y)\) pair! :) That's what you plot.
