Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1It's asking you why it's important to be open to new information. The reason it's important is because new information is discovered very often, as we advance in technology we have more adequate tools to analyze things. Therefore it is important that we can add onto, disprove, or edit our scientific findings as time goes on. Otherwise we would be stuck still believing the earth is flat, along with many other incorrect assumptions
