Okay here is how we do it: √(4 + 6)^2 + (3 + 1)^2 √(2)^2 + (4)^2 √4 + 16 √20 = 4.47 Round to get an answer of 4.

iNeedSeriousHelpBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
okay, (2 + 12 / 2) = 5 So the midpoint is at 5.

the real answer for √20 is 4.472135954999579. I made it 4.47 4.4 < Tenths place, less than 5 so it goes to 4.

iNeedSeriousHelpBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
Yea, but if you don't feel comfortable using 4.47, you can always use 4.4.

iNeedSeriousHelpBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
