Are the open study ambassadors like tutors?

    They can be tutors, but that's not why they're ambassadors. They're responsible for welcoming new users and show them the ropes of the site.

    Not neccesarily, everyone can ask and answer questions (and everyone should). ambassadors are just people who help new memebers to understand the website better.
