The simplest way to solve this is to pick a point on the graph, let's say (0, -1), the point where the graph crosses the y-axis. Now, what we have to do is to put\[x = 0\]\[y = -1\] in each of the expressions and calculate the left side and the right side of the equation. If they are equal. then we have found the right equation. Let's calculate D: Left side: \[-1+4 = 3\] Right side: \[-\frac{ 3 }{ 2 }*(0-2) = -\frac{ 3 }{ 2 }*(-2) = 3\] Hence, D has to be correct.
