Energy is released from ATP when A. every phosphate bond is broken. B. the last phosphate bond is broken. C. all three phosphate bonds are formed. D. the last phosphate bond is formed.

    Logically, energy is released when bonds are formed I believe. I would guess when all 3 are formed.

    energy is released when every phosphate bond is broken...but thermodynamically and actually only the 1st phosphate bond is broken and energy is released...not all 3
